The economic location of Liechtenstein is characterized by a relatively high degree of industrialization, but it has a small domestic market. Therefore, companies focus on export markets. Foreign Trade Statistics

The foreign trade statistics provide information about Liechtenstein’s international trade in goods. It gives details about Liechtenstein’s exports and imports of goods. Due to the common customs union, the trade in goods with and through Switzerland is not included in these figures.

National Economic Accounts

The National Accounts systematically and in detail describe the characteristics and relationships with other economies. One of the most well-known economic indicators is Gross Domestic Product (GDP). It measures the wealth (value-added) that an economy creates domestically within one year.
